Homeless Man With Radio Voice Is An Inspiration

| |

The hottest story right now is all about a man who none of us new, until now.  Ted Williams, the destitute guy using the golden tone of voice, now wearing a brand  new hair-do and thoroughly clean clothing, shows up on the Morning Zoo show at WNCI (97.9 FM) in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Williams, whose profound, yet flowingly soft as silk radio station tone of voice and inspirational report motivated an outpouring of compassion and employment offers from around the world, is now an amazing overnight sensation.

The ensuing YouTube footage has taken in lots of employment offers for Williams, who states he used to operate in radio stations right up until he ran into issures with alcohol and drugs. According to him he’s been thoroughly clean for 2 years.  The good news is, he did get a job as a result of the YouTube video.

This is a fine example of what happens when something goes right on YouTube and millions of people get to hear his story, that otherwise may not have seen the light of day.  It might be a good idea for people with very special skills to start posting videos in YouTube to see if they can get noticed and get a better job.

Posting your job application up on YouTube may or may not work, but what do you have to lose?  This story has really inspired me and I think making videos online is a great way to connect with other people who have similar interest, but I never thought about someone getting a job as a result of a video.

I sincerely hope everything works out for Ted Williams and that is able to stay clean, so he can live the life of his dreams.  When a good opportunity comes knocking, you got to answer the door!  So, the next time you see that bum on the street corner asking for money, keep in mind, you just never know who they are and where they came from or where they are going.
