Cemetery Without Crosses From 1969 Is a Superb Western

Robert Hossein plays a leather-clad killer named Manuel, who is pulled into a heartbreaking kidnap and murder plot by his old lover Maria Caine played by the beautiful Michelle Mercier.

This is a stunning visual motion picture with very little dialogue, that will keep you intrigued right to the very end. As you read this article you will discover why this obscure film is a classic!

This movie is also known as Une corde, un Colt, Cimitero senza croci, and The Rope and the Colt. This is one of the finest Spaghetti Westerns you will ever see, if you can get your hands on it. This is another one of those obscure movies, that may be hard to track down, but it is definitely worth it if you love westerns.

This Spaghetti Western does something different than most westerns you shall ever see, by using silence as a weapon and the pefect musical guitar score, that will send a chill down you spine. This western literally made me think, “Wow”, because it is filmed in a way you would think all westerns should be filmed, but it offers you so much more.

This western does a superb job of focusing in on the details and making you feel like you are almost there in the movie. You will notice a lot of symbolism in this western and I guarantee, that you will want to get you her hands on this out-of-print western, which I would have to personally say is phenomenal. I normally don’t grade a western an A+, but Cemetery Without Crosses from 1969 left me speechless and I believe it will do the same to you as well!

What’s really mind blowing is that this film was co-scripted by none other than the great Dario Argento, who is one of my favorite Italian horror directors, who made such great films as Suspiria and Phenomena. Dario Argento is a true master of horror and he helped make this western unique in every way. This is an action-packed and creepy western, that will grab you by the throat and not let go! Whatever you have to do, get your hands on a good copy of this motion picture now!
